HOW IS THE BEST WAY TO WIN AT CRAPS

The first rule of thumb is knowing how to play the game correctly. This is one of the biggest problems players face. Many of them think they know how to play, then they play a ridiculous move. Or they place the wrong bet. It all comes down to timing and knowing what bets to place, and how to place them.

If you are new to the game, buddy up with a friend, someone who knows to how to play. They can help guide you. Just because you watch a television show where they are playing, doesn’t mean you know what you are doing.

DO YOU HAVE A GOOD BANKROLL

This is a key factor in playing craps. You have to have a bank account that is big enough to work with. If you are not at a certain level yet, wait until you are. Playing with a bank account that is not worth anything is the best way to lose.

PLAY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD

I can’t stress this one enough. Do you have the right amount of money to gamble? If you are planning a trip with some friends, start saving right away. Even if the trip is not for 6 months to a year, begin saving your money. What if you bring 100 grand and end up losing it? Is that all the money you came with? Is there more? Do you see what I mean? If you have about 500 grand saved up for craps, losing that 100 grand won’t really matter. So save up. The more money you have to gamble with, the less anxious you will get.

This is one of the common mistakes that many players make. They only save up a small amount, thinking that is all they will need. This is another sure-fire way to lose.

PRESERVING YOUR MONEY

When you are playing, there were will be the temptation to spend money recklessly. Don’t do that. Let’s say that you have about $2000 in your pocket. You place down $200 on the table. You feel it’s okay to spend that money, because you have another $2000 to back it up. This is the wrong approach to take. One reason why people lose a lot in craps, is because they feel it’s okay to take the gamble. They feel it’s okay to spend money they don’t actually have. Don’t do this. If you do this, the odds of you losing have become that much greater.

KNOW WHEN TO WALK AWAY FROM A GOOD THING

This is a big deal. You don’t realize how many gamblers fail to walk away from the table, when they should. Once you win money at the table, you can collect. Say you win about $250. You can go an collect it right away. What so many players do and shouldn’t, is they keep playing. They figure they can afford to double their winnings. Basically, they don’t know when to stop.

Don’t double down to increase your odds of winning. You will lose every time. Remember, the house holds all the cards, you don’t. If you walk away from the table with at least the same amount of money you came with, you are a step ahead of the rest.
